What Size is A5?

• To get a feel for the size of A5, simply fold a standard sheet of A4 paper in half
• A4 paper is 297 x 210mm.
• A5 paper is exactly half the size of A4. It measures 148mm x 210mm.

Why do some designs look quite different when you compare the digital file and the physical product?

RGB can’t be printed. It is designed for screens and self-lit systems like digital street posters. In the world of physical printing ink on paper, CMYK or special colour inks is all there is.

Whether your file is in RGB or CMYK, your screen has a light source and will display it more brightly than ink on paper. Printed material always looks flatter/duller in colour compared with the screen. Be sure to only provide CMYK files for printing.

To minimise the margin of error, we work with our customers to ensure files are perfect and fully proofed. We ensure that our commercial printing presses are not only regularly calibrated, but they are also regularly tested for misalignments and colour accuracy.
