People love a chance to win. Holding a competition will bring the visitors to your trade show booth.

Hold draws often and use your microphone to attract people to the draw when you announce the winner. 

Promotional items

Having a great giveaway will also increase the traffic to your trade show display.  But remember, hand these out personally, don't just leave them on the display table for anyone to grab.  

High energy staff

Happy, smiling, high energy staff will be a great draw card to your trade show booth. If you look like you're having fun others will want to join in.  

It's a good idea to run some training sessions prior to your trade show. Get them to practice their trade show spiel with other staff members, to find out what works.

Spruik it

Spruiking works. Stand out the front of your trade show display with a microphone and tell people the benefits of your product. Invite visitors to check out your amazing wares.  

Moving images

Interesting videos and slide shows do attract people and keep them watching. Consider including one in your trade show exhibit.

It's all about the experience!

One of the best methods of engaging an audience is to bring in them to experience your product. Smelling perfumes, testing hand cream, having a heat pack applied, anything that engages the senses is good. Feeling how strong your product is, or how soft, or flexible...you get the idea! Be interactive.

Free samples

If your product lends itself to offering free samples, do it. Everyone loves a freebie and visitors will take your product home and use it. They will also line up at your trade show display  to get free samples.

Looking good

Wear clothing with your logo or wear a name tag. You could wear a t-shirt or a badge with a compelling message - "Ask me how to save $500 a year on electricity". It's important to look good and to smile often.
