Promote social media sites with business cards

Business cards should include relevant URLS such as Facebook pages or Twitter accounts

Business cards and other forms of offline media can help to reinforce your company's presence on the web, including your website, Facebook page and Twitter profile.

Writing for BlogHer, Web Success Team contributors Bob Speyor and Justin Delos Reyes asserted that business cards can play an important role when it comes to cross-promoting your company's marketing efforts.

They suggest that including URLs for your company's website, Facebook page or Twitter account on your business card can help reinforce your brand's message and attract potential customers or clients.

"Customers don't want to go through the hassle of Googling your company to see if you have a Facebook page, so make it easier for them to find you," they wrote.

In addition, firms should ensure that their branding remains consistent across different marketing channels - using the same logo on letterhead, eco business cards, social media pages and your company's website create a uniform look that is easily recognisable to a potential customer.

You may also wish to consider the type of marketing materials you use. Your company's decision to use green business cards, for example, could suggest an image of integrity and accountability and make your firm more attractive to potential clients.
