Dreamtime 2011 to be hosted in Sydney

Sydneysiders may wish to get their business cards ready ahead of the Dreamtime 2011 conference, which will see some of the world's best and brightest international business events buyers descend on the New South Wales capital for five days in November.

Sydney has been selected as the host city for the conference for the second time, although participants will also have the option to extend their itinerary with up to seven other Australian destinations.

Sydney was chosen by Tourism Australia for Dreamtime 2011 based on its innovative and creative events proposal, according to Business Events Australia head Penny Lion.

The five day travel trade marketing event will see more than 100 business events decision makers from all over the world visit the city, participating in a series of business networking events, galas and educational activities.

Those who are planning to attend the conference may wish to plan their Sydney business card printing well in advance, as the city is preparing six months of activities and events in the lead-up to the conference in an effort to engage media and buyers.

Sydney last hosted the Dreamtime conference in 2009.
