The city of Sydney has kicked off its annual festival with a south-east Asian dining experience that is sure to grab the attention of its busy residents.
And what better way to impress new clients or expose them to the cultural diversity of the city than organising a business trip outing to the markets?
The open-air markets are well known for their generous serving sizes and aromatic dishes, as well as providing a great atmosphere that are inspired by the strong cultural traditions of Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and many others.
However, it is also best to be prepared for enthusiastic crowds, which only add to the atmosphere of the nightout, as organisers are expecting visitors in their thousands.
The week long eating event is expected to draw crowds of 125,000 diners from around the city hoping to taste the delicious offerings.
And this year guests will be even more spoilt for choice with an estimated 40 different stalls opening up shop.
Joanna Savill, director, described Crave Sydney as "the one event that everyone always automatically associates with the festival".
"Partly because it's been running for 11 years and partly because it's all about coming out of winter and getting outside," she said in an interview with the Sydney Morning Herald.
For those who are looking to take advantage of this networking opportunity making sure to carry a business card on your person is a must.
It may have the appearance of a casual outing, however the festival is also a great opportunity to meet new people and promote your business.
Those who are interested in Asian cuisines may also consider theme-based cards, which are made especially for the event.
Sydney business cards may also be a great one-off gift to foreign business partners and a way to make sure that your work details stand out from those around you.
