Business card exchanges key to unique networking night

Business cards were exchanged at a unique golf event

A unique networking night held this week in Indiana has encouraged regional leaders to exchange business cards in a non-traditional setting.

Jake Sidwell of Valpolife.com reports that north-west Indiana's best and brightest leaders were on hand at the Putt-Putt Palooza event, which took place at Avalon Manor.

The banquet hall at the facility was converted into a miniature golfing area for the evening, which allowed leaders to relax and exchange ideas "without the stress of the office".

Representatives from a number of key industries across the region were encouraged to bring business cards to the event and build productive relationships that could foster community growth.

Unique networking events may call for a memorable approach and your firm may wish to consider its strategy before attending your next function.

As a general rule, online and offline marketing materials should complement each other - you'll want to ensure your company logo, contact information and other relevant details are the same on each item.

You may also wish to ensure that your offline marketing materials - including recycled business cards, leaflets and other promotional items - reinforce your online presence by including the URLs to your company webpage or social media profile.
