Backlit posters are printed on 8ml polyester film with a special coating for optimal image illumination in a lightbox. They are also known as lightbox prints, lightbox images, and lightbox film printing.

What is the Difference Between Standard and Backlit Posters?
There are two main differences between standard and backlit posters.
1. Material.
Cardstock is used for standard posters while backlit posters are printed on a speciality film.
2. Use and illumination.
Standard posters can have spotlights pointed towards them. Backlit posters radiate light from behind the poster.
